Kathryn Pattullo and Sophie Bower met on their MA course at John Moores University.

Kathryn worked as a freelance television production designer before retraining as a teacher four years ago. She now runs a successful Art and Design department at a school in Cheshire and believes art and design education is the most powerful way to engage young people's imagination. Her personal work considers the idea of performance, nostalgia and the notion of becoming someone else. Click here for further details on her work.

Sophie worked as an art teacher for several years in schools in London and on Merseyside. She now works as a freelance practitioner for a number of arts organisations in Liverpool, including the Biennial, Merseyside ACME and Creative Partnerships. Her personal work tends to focus on thought processes with the medium being suggested by the idea involved. For further details of her work visit www.sophiebower.com
